About This Association

The Intermountain Retirement Education Association is a private, public service organization dedicated to providing free, no-obligation information, education and consultation services to seniors and pre-retirees in the arena of Social Security. We aim to make the complex understandable by showing you which of the over 2,700 SSA rules apply to you and how to best implement a strategy to take full advantage of every legal avenue available. Our free services provide helpful resources that can answer any and all of your questions, that can also assist you in avoiding the potentially disastrous mistakes that most SS recipients make, and help you in maximizing your benefit, minimizing your taxes on Social Security, and properly integrating SS with your overall retirement picture. Our services are always free of charge with no risk or obligation. We do not sell insurance or investment products and we do not offer legal, tax, or financial advice. Our sole focus is on helping senior get answers to their Social Security related questions. IREA began offering its services in 2010 and now operates in Salt Lake, Davis, Utah, Cache, Washington, and Iron counties in Utah and in Mesa, Arizona.
